~pnl: I am VRBO property owner. I am very concerned about losing business while on an overseas trip. My cell phone will not be active to receive *-factor authorization texts, and I do not have a local phone in that location. Plus I cannot dial the toll-free *** number in the US to resolve the issue from an overseas phone. Not to mention spending hours on an overseas call, even if it were possible. **Very poorly thought out! VRBO cannot you send texts to my email address rather than to a cell phone. They claim email is not secure (and text messaging is??). I may have to consider quitting VRBO over this poorly executed scheme.

GetHuman: And what about VRBO's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~pnl: For that I would say four out of five.
