FREE IS BETTER THAN NOTHING, BUT IF THE AMBULANCE CAN'T FIND YOU??? **My experience with Assurance Wireless has been very frustrating. I called last January when my daughter got her own approval letter (she does NOT live with me). I spent ** minutes on the phone with a technician who assured me that she could keep my phone number in her own name. This should NOT have been a problem and would have helped her with her job search because this number was on her resumes.**I was told that my account was closed last January, but all they did was transfer my account to my daughter's new phone. I understand that this is a free service, but it is NOT worth the hassle if a person cannot get messages, minutes, and a customer service representative who understands the problem.
