When I asked why they did not tell us about it, they said that it is the policy. I was transferred to a supervisor who promptly disconnected the call. I placed a call again to customer service and was connected after ** minutes wait (asked if it was being recorded, and was told yes. I wanted it recorded).I was again told that it was Hertz policy to add a $*** deposit and was told they were sorry.
